Installations

The installations module gives you an overview of all appliances that you have placed, or are going to place, at a customer and that carry a unique serial number: boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, solar panel inverters, and so on.

The difference with the equipment module: an installation sits at your customer's premises and you follow it up there, whereas equipment covers your own machines and tools, which you use yourself.

Use details

Field in Robaws

Description

Employee

Who places the installation.

Subcontractor

Which subcontractor places the installation.

At project

On which project the installation was placed.

Customer

At which customer the installation is located.

Endcustomer

If you work for a customer who in turn works for someone else, you fill in that end customer here.

The end customer does more than inform. Robaws uses it to limit your project choice to the projects of that customer and end customer, and passes it on automatically to everything you create from this installation: a work order, an order, a subscription or a scheduled maintenance. You can also filter on it in the overview and add it as a column.

If you pick a project that already carries an end customer, Robaws fills in the field for you.

Address

The address block is the address where the installation actually is. In the location field you can specify where exactly — for instance 'boiler room basement' or 'roof of the extension'.

Overview

Overview of the linked records on an installation

This card holds everything linked to the installation: subscriptions, work orders, purchase orders, purchase invoices and stock changes. You also see it visually in a chart.

Maintenance schedule

If you work with service and maintenance, a maintenance schedule card is added, in which you set how often this installation has to be serviced. Robaws then creates the scheduled maintenances itself.
