Projects | Settings
In this article we go step by step through the project settings of Robaws. Also take a look at the general settings: they contain settings that influence several modules, and therefore projects as well.
You find the settings via settings > projects.
Master data
Execution phase: switch this toggle on to work with execution phases on your projects. Then click through to create them. You give every execution phase a name and can link a planning group to it in order to group them on the dayplanning.
Overview
Here you determine what the various views of the overview screen of your projects and of the recalculation table in a project file look like. What you change here applies to every user. In addition, every user can still create and set up their own overviews.
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Quick filters | Choose which filters are ready by default in the overview. |
System overview | Determine which columns you want to see in the table view, and in which order. |
Recalculation overview | Determine which columns you want to see in the analysis view, and in which order. This also determines the layout of the recalculation table in every project file. |
Financial overview | Determine which columns you want to see in the financial view, and in which order. |
Settings
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Quotation concern as planningname | Switch this on if you want the concerning field from the quotation to be carried over into the planningname field of the project. |
Wappy enabled on file by default | Switch this on to show project files in Wappy by default. You can still change this per file in the project. |
Construction partners | Switch this on to show the Construction partners table in the project. |
Forecast & forecast changes | Switch this on to see an extra line Forecast changes in the insights of the project. |
Discounts and surcharges | Switch this on to see an extra line Discounts and surcharges in the project details. |
Measurements | Switch this on to work with measurements on your projects. |
Type construction partner | Adjust the list of construction partner types as you wish. This list is used in the supplier file and in the project file. |
Next number
Here you set the numbering of your projects: the prefix, the suffix and the number of digits (#Numbers). With change next number you determine which number the next project is given. You find more explanation in how do I change a document number.
Extra fields
Just as with all modules in Robaws, you can also create extra fields of your choice for a project.
Recalculation
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Post | Switch this on to show an extra post column in the quotation in which you can select a post. In the recalculation this provides an extra subdivision. |
Grouping, Subdivision and Display | Determine the default value for the grouping, the subdivision and the display of the recalculation table. |
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Show comments on PDF | Switch this on to show the remarks you note in the project on the pdf. |
Statuses
Manage the statuses of your projects here. You also indicate which statuses consider a project active for track and trace.
Templates
You can create your own templates for projects. That way you have various project templates in which certain fields are already completed, and for a new project you choose the template that fits. You can update a template in the settings without this changing anything in your projects in progress.
You draw up a project template like this:
- Click add and give your template a name.
- Choose your starting point: choose existing to start from an existing project, or create blank template to start from an empty project.
Default documents
Set up the default documents that you want to use from a project here. They appear in the project file under the default document action button. You can still edit them there before you send them to the customer.
Email templates
Here you set up the email templates that you use to send mail from a project. You prepare various emails with a fixed text (with replacement codes if you wish) and with particular attachments.
