The financial overview of a project

You can call up a financial overview from the project overview. You do this through the '€' tab on the right of the overview.


In the financial overview, the columns let you determine which statistics you want to see here.
You choose the columns that are visible in the financial overview yourself in Settings > Projects > Overview > Financial overview.


Columns

Explanation

Estimated costs

The total cost price of quotations + change orders that are active on the project

Estimated yield

The total selling price of quotations + change orders that are active on the project

Effective costs

The total cost price of work orders + incoming invoices + internal supply orders linked to the project

Invoices

The total selling price of all invoices linked to the project

Budgeted margin

(Estimated yield - estimated costs) / estimated yield

Realized margin

Invoices - effective costs

Realized margin %

(Invoices - effective costs) / invoices

Remaining costs

Effective costs - estimated costs

Percentage of completion

If the estimated cost equals 0, you get 0%. Otherwise the following calculation is used: (effective costs / estimated costs) * 100

Under(-)/over(+) invoiced

Effective income - (est. income * effective cost / est. cost). The calculation between brackets is rounded to 6 digits after the decimal point

Forecast

Forecast Δ + estimated costs

Forecast margin

Margin based on the forecast against the estimated yield

Forecast Δ

Sum of all forecast changes on the project

Forecast result

Budgeted income - forecast Δ

Indirect costs budgeted

The indirect costs taken from the indirect cost margin + lines with cost type 'indirect costs' on the quotation

Indirect costs realised

The indirect costs calculated on the basis of the indirect cost margin through the pencil on the project

Indirect costs forecast

The indirect costs calculated on the basis of the indirect cost margin through the pencil on the project


The 'realized margin %' column follows 3 colours:


  • Green: realized margin > budgeted margin
  • Orange: 0 < realized margin > budgeted margin
  • Red: realized margin is equal to or smaller than 0
