Change orders | Settings

Change orders do not have their own settings page: they follow the quotation settings, via Settings > Quotations. After all, a change order is built up like a quotation. What you set there therefore applies to your quotations and your change orders. Only the overview screen and the numbering are set separately for change orders. Below you find what each quotation setting does for your change orders. How to work with change orders is explained in Change orders | General. The full explanation of all settings is in Quotations | Settings.

If you change a setting for your change orders, it also changes for your quotations, except for Overview settlement and Change next settlement number. After every change, click Activate settings at the bottom right. Otherwise your adjustments are not applied in your Robaws environment.

Overview settlement

This card only applies to change orders. Here you determine what the views of the overview screen of your change orders look like. What you change here applies to every user. In addition, every user can still create and set up their own overviews.

Two settings on this card have no effect on change orders, because a change order does not have those action buttons: Move files to project during creation (with Make project) and Make subscription.

Next number

Change orders have their own numbering, separate from the quotations. That is why this card has two blocks side by side: Change next quotation number and Change next settlement number.

  1. Change the number of the next change order via Change next settlement number.
  2. In the same block, choose how the numbering is built up: fill in a Prefix, a Suffix and the number of digits (#Numbers).

Extra fields

Your change orders use the same extra fields as your quotations. An extra field that you create here therefore appears on every quotation and every change order.

Standard texts

The standard texts that you set up here can also be chosen as the introduction or end in your change orders.
