Extra fields
Every module in Robaws consists of a number of standard fields. This is where you can note down the greater part of the standard data.
But just as with all modules in Robaws, you can make use of extra fields in a planning item.
You can create the extra fields in order to register other specific information that cannot be included in the standard fields.
Standard texts
These settings have an influence on 2 tables that you can show in an e-mail via a replacement code:
- planning calendar: replacement code ${planningTable}
- overview list: replacement code ${orderPlanningTable}
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Planning table employee column | Here you can use replacement codes to determine which information is shown in the employee column of the planning calendar (in an e-mail) |
Planning table execution column | Here you can use replacement codes to determine which information is shown in the execution column of the planning calendar (in an e-mail) |
Order planning table | Here you can use replacement codes to determine which information is shown when you send the overview list of the dayplanning by e-mail. |
Templates
In Robaws you can create your own templates for quotations. This means that you set up a planning item properly once, and can use it later as a basis for setting up a new planning item.
You can still edit the template afterwards if necessary; this does not change anything about planning items that have already been created.
Planning item template
You can set up a planning item template for each of the various displays (employee, execution phase, planning resource, project and equipment) that apply to the dayplanning.
For each display you have the following settings you can adjust:
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Use the same template for the PDF | If you tick this checkbox, we follow the replacement code of 'template' to show on the PDF. |
Template | Using replacement codes you can determine what appears in the display of your planning item in the dayplanning overview (the coloured blocks). |
Custom PDF template | Using replacement codes you can determine what has to appear on the PDF. If the setting 'use the same template for the PDF' is activated, this setting will not be visible. |
Default documents
Set up the default documents here that you want to use in the dayplanning module. They then appear in the planning item under the action button 'default documents'. You can still edit them there before you forward them to the customer.
E-mail templates
Here you can set up the e-mail templates that you want to use in the dayplanning. This means that you can prepare various e-mails with a particular text (with or without replacement codes) and with particular attachments.
There are 2 kinds of e-mail templates on the dayplanning:
- E-mail template general for the dayplanning: this contains an overview of the planned items that you can e-mail
- E-mail template on the planning item: you can use this to send to the customer
Planning item
This is how you create e-mail templates for communication to customers.
