Creating teams for use in the dayplanning

If you work in your organisation with teams that always work together on a certain type of work, then you can use the planning resources.
A planning resource means that you make a selection in advance of a number of employees who form a team, optionally linked to equipment that they always use.

Using planning resources is efficient in view of the dayplanning:

  • On a planning item you can link a planning resource in order to select employees and equipment automatically
  • On the dayplanning you can set the display to 'planning resource' in order to have a view of the scheduled jobs per team.

Example:
I create a planning resource for the group of employees responsible for the shell construction work. They are also always on the road with a specific van.

Use

When creating a planning item you can link a planning resource in the planning resource field. Robaws will then automatically fill in the employees and equipment that are set on this planning resource.
After selecting this planning resource it is still possible to remove/add employees and equipment on the planning item.

Always select your planning resource on your planning item before you add employees and equipment manually. Otherwise this data is overwritten with the settings of the planning resource.

In the overview of the dayplanning you can set the display to 'planning resource'. This way you can see in 1 overview which jobs are linked to which teams.
If you always want to set the display to 'planning resource', you can configure this via the settings. To do so you go to settings > dayplanning > default planning mode.
To change the overview in the dayplanning manually, you do the following:

Creating planning resources

You can create a planning resource via settings > general > planning > planning resource or via settings > dayplanning > master data > planning resource.
