Creating a project file

In Robaws a project is regarded as the file, or the peg, on which a great deal of information is collected.

You can create a project in two ways:


directly via the 'projects' module	from a quotation that is 'approved'.

If you create a project from a quotation, that quotation is regarded as 'active' and is immediately included in the recalculation of the project.

Action buttons

	Make supply order. From the project you can order items from the active quotation(s) by means of one or more project supply routes.
	Export. All documents of the items from the active quotation(s) and all documents of the linked work orders can be exported.
	Share object. Users who do not have access to a project on the basis of their user role can still be given access to the project by means of this function. If you create a project from a quotation, the assignees of that quotation and of any revisions are added to the list of people with whom the project is "shared", if they would not normally have access to it. The condition is that they must already have access to the projects module.

Field	Description
Date	Creation date of the project.
Customer	Customer assigned to the project.
Contactperson	Contact person of the linked customer.
Endcustomer	End customer assigned to the project.
Contactperson	Contact person of the linked end customer.
Customer reference	Reference of the customer.
Planningname	Subject or title of the project.
Status	Status of the project.
Company	Company assigned to the project.
Kilometers	The number of kilometres between the company address and the project address.
Planning group	Category under which the project is shown in the dayplanning. Curious about what this function can do? Then be sure to read the following article: Planning groups
Project leader	Project leader of the project. Select a Robaws user here.
Yard nr. NSSO	The NSSO number of the site.
Yardmessage	Is a yard message required?
CheckInAtWork	Is a CIAW registration required? The registration does not (yet) happen automatically from Robaws. In this field you indicate whether a CIAW registration is required or has already been carried out.

Address

If you create a project from the quotation, the address of the quotation is carried over and regarded as the 'project address'.
If you create a project via the 'projects' module, you can enter a project address yourself or carry over the address of the customer and use it as the project address.

Construction partners

One or more construction partners can be assigned to a project. How this function works is explained in more detail in the article Construction partners.

Tabs

Insights

Under this tab you can consult all documents that form part of the project. Per module you get an indication of the cost price and/or the selling price. These amounts are also shown in a chart.

When you draw up a quotation and link it to the project, you can tick 'active' in the quotation. In this way the items and the cost price are included in the analyses of the project. If you do not tick 'active', the quotation is still linked to the project, but nothing further is included in the analyses of the project. A distinction is thus made between quotations that are not active (orange colour) and active (blue colour).

With the work orders you can click a 'paperclip'. All photos that are linked to one or more work orders are then shown in a pop-up window.

Planning

Project planning

Under this tab you can add the various execution phases. These are shown in the project planning once a start date and an end date have been entered. In addition you can enter the number of workdays (man-days) that are considered necessary to complete the phase.

Dayplanning

All planning items to which the project is linked are shown. These can be planning items from the past, the present and the future. Feel free to have a look at the article Dayplanning for a detailed explanation of this module.

Dayplanning info

Under the 'Dayplanning info' tab you can add additional information about the project. This information is shared in Wappy and can therefore be consulted in every planning item to which the project is linked.

Project-related information such as the access code of a gate, names of residents, contact persons, and so on can be stored and shared in Wappy in this way.
