Special tariffs for a customer or project

In Robaws the selling price for an item or post is set on the item or post record. This selling price is used on the sales document.
There are, however, ways to set a different price. In that case the sales document falls back on this different price.

The most commonly used different prices are price groups for customers and tier prices, but in some cases it can be useful to set a special tariff for one customer or for one project.

The options for setting special tariffs (in order of priority):

  1. Special tariff for a project
  2. Special tariff for a customer

It is possible to set a special tariff for a post. When you add that post to a quotation, the result depends on the type of quotation.
If you add it to a calculated quotation, this results in a custom price.
If you add it to a simple quotation, this results in a special price, just as on other documents such as an invoice.

Special tariff for a project

On the project record you can use the 'tarifs' tab to enter a different price for a specific item or post for this project.
When you create a sales document that is linked to this project, that selling price is used.

Special tariff for a customer

On the customer record you can use the 'tarifs' tab to enter a different price for a specific item for this customer.
When you create a sales document that is linked to this customer, that selling price is used.

When a different price is applied in a sales document, a pop-up appears at the top right with the message 'special price applied'. Through this message you can click through to the special price and view and/or change it.
