Carrying out maintenance in Robaws

A maintenance that has been created and scheduled can easily be filled in in Robaws.
You do this via the maintenance service itself.

Filling in the maintenance service

Go to the maintenance service via the related modules to fill it in. You can do this in various ways:

  • Via the 'Maintenance service' module you search for the maintenance service
  • Via the 'Orders' module you search for the order the maintenance service is linked to, so that you can click through to the maintenance service
  • Via the 'Items' module you search for the item for which a maintenance service has been created, so that you can click through to the maintenance service
  • Via the 'Installations' module you search for the installation for which a maintenance service has been created, so that you can click through to the maintenance service

This is how you can open the maintenance services and work through them completely: fill in materials, change the status, link an assignee, fill in forms, create a report.

Creating a work order for maintenance

As long as you do not put the maintenance service on a work order, it remains an internal document that you can use but that you will not charge to the customer.
If you want to put the hours for carrying out the maintenance and the materials used on a work order for the customer, one extra action is needed.
For this you use the 'Create work order' action button, which you find in the overview of the maintenance services and in the maintenance service itself.

As soon as you have created the work order from the maintenance service, all materials of the maintenance service are carried over to the work order.
