Wappy is the digital work order app that lets you register the hours worked and the materials used digitally via smartphone or tablet and convert them into a work order in Robaws.
Robaws and Wappy are seamlessly connected to each other.

In this article we explain the most common flow between Robaws and Wappy.
We can divide this process into 3 phases:

  1. Preparation phase - creating planning assignments via the dayplanning in Robaws
  2. Execution phase - completing the work order in Wappy
  3. Processing phase - the work order is created in Robaws

To use this flow you need a Wappy licence and you also have to be using at least a Go licence in Robaws.

Preparation phase

To give the worker a planning assignment in Wappy, it has to be created in the dayplanning in Robaws.

You can create a planning assignment in 3 different ways:

  • In the dayplanning you click the + sign at the top to create a new planning item
  • In the dayplanning you drag out a period to create a new planning item
  • From the order or project module you can create a planning item in the dayplanning that is immediately linked to those modules

To get the planning assignment into the worker's list, it is important that the correct employee is linked to your planning item. If the wrong employee or no employee at all is linked here, it will not be visible in the list of work orders in Wappy.

Execution phase

As soon as the phase above has been completed, the planning assignment is shown in Wappy under the module 'my work orders'.

To complete the work order, you go through the following steps:

  • Choose a work order from the list and click on it
  • Go through all the tabs in your work order to fill in all the details that are needed
  • On the last tab, click 'send' to close the work order and send it to Robaws

Tip: on the Info tab of the work order you consult the files and documents that belong to the project or order, and you can also share files from another app to Wappy.

You can find a sent work order via the 'my completed work orders' module in Wappy. These work orders are purely for information; you can no longer change them.

Via the Wappy settings you can determine how far into the future and the past the work orders and completed work orders may be visible in Wappy.

Processing phase

Once the work order has been sent from Wappy to Robaws, it ends up under the module 'work orders'.
It is important that this work order is reviewed and checked before it is approved.
