Robaws App
The Robaws App is the free mobile app (iOS and Android) with which you consult and, to a limited extent, edit your Robaws data while you are out and about. The app is above all a consultation and capture tool: drawing up quotations or doing your recalculation is still something you do in the web version (on a tablet if you like).
Downloading the app
- iOS: https://apps.apple.com/be/app/robaws/id1559563155
- Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=be.eforge.bawsy
What can you do with the Robaws App?
With the app you can, among other things:
- consult customer data and call, e-mail or text directly;
- consult quotations, orders, projects, work orders, invoices, stock, etc.;
- add and share files and photos (native share);
- photograph paper incoming invoices for OCR processing;
- view stock and stock changes;
- go through approval requests;
- submit and approve time-off requests;
- consult notifications and receive push notifications.
Below we explain the most important functions.
Consulting data
Customers
In the customer file you immediately find the contact details and from there you can call (telephone icon), e-mail (envelope) or text (speech bubble next to the mobile number). Via the files tab you add documents with the plus sign at the bottom right; for photos your device may ask for permission. If you open a document, you only browse through the documents of the folder you have selected, so that you do not end up in a different folder without noticing. Via the quotations tab you see all quotations that are linked to the customer.
Quotations, orders and projects
You can consult quotations and orders in the app — you draw them up in the web version. With projects you consult the information and you can add files and remarks; you do the recalculation itself in the web version.
Sharing files to Robaws (native share)
You can share files or photos from another app on your device (for example your photo library or a PDF viewer) directly with the Robaws App, instead of photographing everything from Robaws itself. Since July 2026 you can also share those files with the remarks of a Project, Quotation or Order. When sharing, you choose in a window where the files end up and you can adjust the file names.
Scanning incoming invoices (OCR)
An absolute must if you work with OCR: instead of scanning in a paper invoice, you take a photo of it and upload it via the app.
- When uploading you can choose the right robawsbox (if several are active) and add an extra remark.
- The app remembers which user did the upload.
- You check whether the upload has succeeded in the web version via incoming invoices > pending scans.
Stock and stock changes
In the stock module you see at a glance, with the internal supply orders of a stock change, whether an item can be picked. Availability is shown with colours, taking into account both the available stock and the stock reservations on the project:
- Green: enough stock to pick the item in full.
- Orange: there is stock, but not enough to pick in full.
- Red: no stock available in the stock location.
Approval requests
You can go through the acceptance flow of incoming invoices and supply orders entirely in the app. Just as in the web version, you can add an extra user to the flow via the 'progress' tab. You will find more information in Acceptance flow in the Robaws App.
Time-off requests
Via the approval requests module you also find the time-off requests you have to approve: you can approve or reject them in the app and link the right hour type. You can also submit a time-off request there yourself. You will find more information in Time-off requests.
Notifications
In the app you consult your notifications via the menu. If there are new notifications, you see a red dot above the menu button. If you work with several accounts, that dot sits above the badge of the account the notification belongs to, so that you immediately know where to look. The list is the same as the one under the bell in the web version and synchronises between your devices: a notification you open on one device is also marked as read elsewhere.
In addition, you receive a push notification in two cases:
- when someone else assigns a task to you (not for tasks you assign to yourself);
- when someone mentions you in a remark. You then get the notification 'New mention' with who has named you.
If you click the notification, the right screen opens straight away — and with several accounts the right account as well. If the app is on several devices with push notifications switched on, you get them on every device.
You have to grant permission for push notifications. You can do that at the first login, or later via the settings of the app.
Several accounts
Do you work with several accounts with the same username? Then you can switch quickly via the quick switch: tap the three lines at the top left and choose the account you want at the top.
