Wappy | Registering material hours

Besides the hours worked that have been achieved, your employee also registers the running hours of their equipment in Wappy. Those material hours are attached to the employee hours, so you register them in the same place: the second tab 'hours' on the work order.

Example: on a site Jan does the excavation work and uses the digger for this all day. Besides his hours worked, you also want to be able to pass on the running hours of that digger to the customer. That is what you use the material hours for.

Registering material hours is part of the Standard and Teams Wappy plans.

Equipment is your machines and tools. Do not confuse it with material: those are the items you consume on site.

Registering in Wappy

First switch on the Show material hours setting via settings > work orders > wappy. It is switched off by default.

After that you register the hours on the work order:

  1. Go through the steps to register the employee hours.
  2. At the bottom, under 'equipment used', click 'add equipment'.
  3. Choose the equipment for which you want to register the hours.
  4. Make sure there is a tick next to the equipment that was used.

Do you want to register material hours without an employee? Then add hours and leave the 'employee' field empty.

Your equipment and your installations can also carry a barcode or QR code, via the serial number field on their file. If you scan a code in Wappy, Wappy looks with your equipment first and only afterwards with your items. You scan on the material tab, via registering the material used.

Following up in Robaws

To see the hours from Wappy on the work order in Robaws as well, you switch on Show material hours via settings > work orders > settings. That one is switched off by default too.

These are two separate settings with the same name: one under wappy (visible in the app) and one under settings (visible on the work order in Robaws). For the full flow from Wappy to Robaws, both have to be switched on.

If the setting is switched on, you get an extra 'material hours' frame on the work order. In it you see the hours from Wappy and you can still adjust them.
