Customers | Settings
Under settings > customers you determine how the customer module works: which default values a new customer receives, which fields appear on the customer file and what the overview screen looks like. Also take a look at the general settings — these affect several modules, including your customers.
Overview
Here you determine what the first tab of the customer overview looks like. What you change here applies to every user. In addition, every user can still create their own overviews and set them up as they wish.
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Quick filters | Choose which filters are ready by default in your overview. |
System overview | Choose which columns you want in your overview, and in which order. |

Default payment condition | The payment condition that is filled in by default for a new customer. |
Default credit limit | The amount of the credit limit that is filled in by default for a new customer. If you leave this field empty, Robaws uses 20,000. |
Default VAT | The VAT tariff that is filled in by default for a new customer. You can only choose sales tariffs. |
Default sales vat tariff for 0% | The fallback tariff for when no VAT tariff is set on the customer file by accident. Important for the link with your accounting software. |
External Id | Switch on if you want to see this field on the customer file. |
Show assignee | Switch on if you want to see this field on the customer file. |
Follow up date | Switch on if you want to see this field on the customer file. |
Wappy enabled on contact person by default | Switch on if every new contact person should be visible in Wappy by default. This is on by default. |
Extra fields
As with other modules, you can create extra fields of your choice on the customer file.
Statuses
You can also give a customer your own status. Create the statuses you want here, give every status a colour for the overview and fill in the default status: the status that a newly created customer receives.
Email templates
As with other modules, you can prepare email templates and then use them from the customer file.
