Subscriptions | Settings
We take you step by step through the settings of the subscriptions module. Also have a look at the general settings: they contain a lot of settings that affect various modules, and therefore your subscriptions as well.
You find the page via settings > subscriptions.
Master data
Fill in the recurring periods you need for your subscriptions here (daily, yearly, on workdays, etc.). For each period you indicate whether it keeps running or stops after X times. Recurring periods are master data: you create them once and then use them in every subscription.
Overview
Determine here what the first tab in the overview of the subscriptions looks like. What you set here applies to all users. In addition, every user can create their own overviews and set them up as they wish.
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Quick filters | Choose which filters are ready by default in your overview. |
System overview | Determine which columns you want in your overview, and in which order. |
Settings
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Change next number | Change the number of the next subscription. |
Show post nr. | Adds a 'Post' column to the subscription. |
Show line nrs. | Adds a 'Nr' column to the subscription. |

Extra fields
Just as in all modules, you can create extra fields of your choice in a subscription.
Set up one or more pdf templates to show the subscription as a pdf. You determine yourself how the heading is laid out, which title appears on the pdf, which columns are visible with the subscription lines and a number of other settings.
This is also where you enter the translations of the pdf, for when you send the subscription in another language.
Statuses
You determine the statuses of your subscriptions yourself. A number of them are set up by default (draft, active, stopped), but you can adjust, delete or add to these. Note that the name is case-sensitive.
You can also have the status changed automatically after a certain action:
Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
Invoice status | Sets the subscription to this status as soon as an invoice has been generated. |
Status after order | Sets the subscription to this status as soon as an order has been generated. |
Templates
You can create your own templates for subscriptions. You set up one subscription properly once and use that later as the basis for offering the same subscription to another customer. If you adjust the template afterwards, nothing changes in your running subscriptions.
You set up a template as follows:
- Click 'Add'.
- Give your template a name.
- Choose your starting point: click 'Choose existing' to start from an existing subscription, or 'Create blank template' to start with an empty subscription.
Default documents
Set up the default documents you want to use in the subscriptions module here. They then appear in the subscription under the action button default document. You can still edit them there before you send them to the customer.
E-mail templates
Here you set up the e-mail templates you want to use in your subscriptions. In this way you prepare various e-mails with a fixed text (with or without replacement codes) and with fixed attachments, for example the subscription together with your terms and conditions.
