Q: Amount Formulas

With Amount Formulas you can substantiate the quantity of a line by splitting it into several parts. Each part is calculated with a formula (e.g. the volume of a tree), and the sum of all parts becomes the quantity of the line. You can show this calculation on the document, so that your customer sees how you arrived at a given quantity — or keep it hidden for internal use. Besides quotations, this also works on orders, invoices, supply orders and the progress claim. Handy, for example, for an earthworks contractor who wants to record per row from which house number to which house number something was carried out: the name of a row carries just as much information as the numbers. For example: we draw up a quotation to remove and shred a few trees, with a price per cubic metre. On site we measured the number of trees, with an estimate of the average radius and height. Logging in to Robaws

Robaws is an online software package. You log in via Google Chrome for the best experience.

Go to the website app.robaws.com
Log in with your username and password.
TIP: you can also use these details to log in to the Robaws app, which you can download from the Apple Store or Play Store.

Your username is usually your e-mail address.
Do you not have a password, or have you forgotten it? Set it via 'forgot password'

Do you want to log in to Wappy? Then follow these instructions.

Initial setup

The first time you log in to Robaws, you have to complete the following steps once. Do not skip them, otherwise you will not be able to use Robaws properly.

The following information is the minimum needed to report a problem: a description of the problem, the expected behaviour, the time it occurred, and the user (e-mail) that experiences the problem. The quickest way to fix something is to send us structured steps so that we can reproduce the problem.

Feel free to send us a screenshot or a short video in which the problem can clearly be seen. This way we can analyse the problem better and solve it more quickly.

Quotations | Settings

In this article we take you step by step through the quotation settings in Robaws. These apply specifically to quotations and change orders. Also take a look at the general settings: they contain a great many settings that have an impact on several modules, and therefore also on quotations and change orders.

Go to Settings > Quotations to see the page with the quotation settings.

After you have changed something in the settings, it is important to click 'Activate settings' at the bottom right to actually apply them within your Robaws environment.

Overview quotations / change orders

Here you determine what the first tab in the overview of the quotations / change orders looks like. What you change via the settings, you change for every user. In addition, every user can also choose to create their own overviews and set them up as they wish.

Why is my installment invoice locked?

Accepted Answer

Do you work with installment invoices (advance or progress-claim invoices)? Then you may find that an advance or progress-claim invoice you created earlier can no longer be edited or deleted. This isn't a bug: as soon as an installment invoice is listed in the advance invoices and installments table of a following (cumulative) invoice or progress claim, Robaws automatically locks that installment invoice.

Why does an installment invoice get locked?

With a cumulative invoicing strategy, Robaws automatically deducts the amount of previous installment invoices from the total on the next invoice (or progress claim). If you could still change the amount of such an installment invoice afterwards, that deducted amount would no longer match the actual installment invoice — resulting in an incorrect invoice total.

To prevent that, Robaws locks an installment invoice as soon as it appears in the advance invoices and installments table of another invoice or progress claim. This keeps the total amount correct at all times.

Example: you create a quotation with an advance invoice, then invoice the follow-up (for example the execution phase) via a cumulative invoice. That follow-up invoice shows an advance invoices and installments table listing your advance invoice, and automatically accounts for it:
