Time and date display

Robaws always shows dates in the DD/MM/YYYY format and times in the 24-hour format. That is the case for all four supported languages: Dutch, French, German and English. So there is no separate setting for the date format in Robaws, and no American notation with MM/DD or AM/PM either.

What does follow the language

The language of your profile determines how Robaws formats the rest of the display:

  • the names of months and weekdays (januari / janvier / Januar / January);
  • the number format, so the decimal separator and the thousands separator (1.234,56 in Dutch and German, 1 234,56 in French, 1,234.56 in English);
  • the display of amounts.

How to change the language

  1. Click your name at the top right and go to your profile.
  2. Change the Language field to the language you want.
  3. The message 'Activate language … now?' appears. Click Activate.

Robaws reloads, and from then on the date, time and number formats follow the language you set here.

This language applies only to your own display in Robaws. The language a document goes out in to your customer is set on the customer card — see Translations.
