Sending emails from Robaws

Sending quotations, emailing invoices, placing a supply order with your supplier: you do that straight from Robaws. To do so, you link an email account to your environment. Robaws then sends the email via the mail server of that account, so with your sender address and your signature. If you work with a Google account, for example, the email goes via the Gmail server.

Robaws only takes care of sending. Incoming emails and replies to your emails arrive in your normal mailbox and are not registered in Robaws.

What you set up first

  1. Creating an email account. You can set up an email account per user, or an email account per module or company.
  2. Creating an email template. That is the pre-written email text that serves as the basis for your emails.

As long as no personal or default email account has been set up, Robaws asks you to do that first via the settings.

Problems when sending

Did you link your account via Google or Microsoft? In that case the authorisation can expire after a while. If so, restore the link via the settings of your email account. If it still does not work afterwards, the cause is a setting with your mail provider itself: contact the support team of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. For all other questions you can contact support@robaws.com.
