Types of email accounts

When creating an email account you can choose from several types of email accounts.

Different types:

OFFICE365_OAUTH2

With this type we create a link between your OFFICE email address and Robaws. When you send an email from Robaws, we instruct OFFICE to send that email from your account. You can consult the email afterwards in your sent items in OFFICE.

Setting

Explanation

From e-mail

Emails are sent from this email address. The 'authorize' is also carried out with this email address.

From name

The recipient sees this name when receiving the email.

BCC

You can choose to add a BCC email address. This email address also receives every email sent from this profile.

To make this link work, an 'authorize' has to be carried out. This is how you give OFFICE permission to use your email address.

Sometimes you cannot create the link because admin consent is required or because you have to enter a reason. In that case contact your IT administrator and follow these steps.

GMAIL_OAUTH2

With this type we create a link between your GMAIL email address and Robaws. When you send an email from Robaws, we instruct GMAIL to send that email from your account. You can consult the email afterwards in your sent items in GMAIL.
