How does the Connectro integration work?

Connectro is an external middleware tool that connects your online channels with Robaws. Leads from your website forms, appointments from your service calendar and orders from your webshop end up in Robaws automatically, without retyping.

Connectro is an external partner, not part of Robaws. The integration runs via the open API of Robaws: you create an access key in Robaws and fill it in in Connectro. Everything you set up after that — which form goes to which task type, which hours are bookable, which items your webshop shows — you manage in Connectro, not in Robaws.

Connectro is a Belgian partner. For use outside Belgium, it is best to contact Connectro directly first.

What you can do with it

Forms to Robaws. A customer fills in a contact form on your website. Connectro sends the details through immediately and automatically creates a customer and a task in Robaws. In Connectro you determine which task type, project or status the lead goes to.

Sales and service calendar. Your website has a calendar on which customers book an appointment themselves, for example for the maintenance of their heat pump. That appointment ends up directly in the dayplanning of Robaws, linked to the correct employee. Slots that are already taken in Robaws can no longer be booked by a customer.

Webshop. Connectro retrieves the item information from Robaws, so that the prices on your website are always up to date. Orders that customers place are automatically converted into an order in Robaws, along with the customer and order details.

Activating the integration

You start from Connectro, with an API access key from Robaws.

Create an access key for the API in Robaws: set API access to active on the user profile and click new access key. Copy the key and the secret immediately — you only see the secret once.
Log in at connectro.be/app.
Go to the settings. In the top block, next to address details, click change at Robaws API details. At the bottom of the form, fill in the Robaws API Login and Robaws API Password fields with the key and the secret from step 1. Click save.
In the next screen, an extra block appears with the start check button. Click it to test whether the connection with Robaws works. If it succeeds, the message disappears. If it does not, you get an error message and you can try again.

Is the check not working? Then first check whether you have copied the secret in full and without spaces, and whether the user in Robaws has the correct rights on the modules Connectro has to address.
