How the Compano webshop works

With Compano (also known as artikelbeheer.nl) you can consult millions of items from manufacturers and wholesalers in the construction and installation sector as an installer, estimator or modeller. You select the products you need and load them straight into Robaws, with prices calculated according to your own purchasing conditions.

An integration with Compano / artikelbeheer.nl can currently only be configured for Robaws users in the Netherlands.

What you can do with the integration

When importing, Robaws always takes the most recent open shopping cart (Art-select) into account. We recommend using own shopping carts only, not shared ones. Data such as name, item number, unit, gross price and net price, EAN number, brand, photo and description is retrieved as well.

Requesting an account

You request a user account for Compano / artikelbeheer.nl via the Compano website. They will provide you with the company name, username and password you need to activate the integration.

Activating the integration

Go to settings > integrations > webshops > Compano / Artikelbeheer.nl and fill in the details below.

Setting	Explanation
Company name	The company name you received from Compano.
Username	The username of your Compano account.
Password	The password of your Compano account.
URL (provider)	The address of your Compano environment. See setting the provider URL below.

With the test connection button you check whether all details have been filled in correctly and the integration is successful.

Setting the provider URL

Since July 2026 you no longer choose the provider from a fixed dropdown, but fill it in yourself in a free URL field. This way you can set the correct environment straight away, without a change in Robaws being needed for it. Existing integrations simply keep working.

What to watch out for:

The URL has to start with https://.
With the test connection button, Robaws checks whether the URL you filled in is valid and whether it is an existing website. If it is not, you get a message about this.
Next to the field there is an info button (i) that refers to this helpdesk page. That button is currently only visible if your profile language is set to Dutch.
