Billable hours

With the 'billable hours' you can make a distinction on a work order between the hours that count towards costs and payroll administration, and the hours that may be passed on to the customer.

By default these two sets of hours are the same. When you adjust the hours, the 'billable hours' are adjusted automatically. In the work order settings you can change this behaviour with 'Rounding minutes for employee hours'. Suppose you want to round up per hour: you then fill in 60 here. An entry of 3h 20min then becomes 4 hours in the billable hours.
