Adding a structured statement to your invoices

A structured statement is a unique message that is linked to an invoice.

You decide per PDF whether or not you want to use a structured statement.
The advantage of using it is that you can link incoming payments yourself to an invoice that contains the same structured statement.

Adding a structured statement to my invoice

You set the use of a structured statement on the PDF template of the dynamic PDF.
To do so, go to settings > invoices > PDF > open the PDF template > structured statement.

As soon as the function is activated here, a structured statement is added to the invoices created with this PDF template. Where the message appears depends on the layout of the PDF template.

Linking payments to an invoice automatically

If a link with Codabox or Ponto is active, you can have incoming and outgoing payments synchronised with Robaws.
When the structured statement is used, the payment is linked to the invoice with the same message.

If you want the status to change to a 'paid' status automatically, it is important that this status is set correctly in the settings.

This is done automatically for sales invoices. If you also want this for incoming invoices, you have to activate a setting for it (settings > incoming invoices > settings > 'Automatically match payments with incoming invoices').
