DATANORM

Info

DATANORM are files that you usually receive from your wholesaler.
Items as well as discounts and price updates are included in these files.

You can upload the DATANORM in the item overview screen.

Supported types

Header line (V lines)
Control line (K lines)
Discount groups (R lines)
Dimensions (D lines)
Price line (P lines)
Service line (C lines)
Sets (J lines)

Import

Selecting files

At the start of the import you supply the datanorm files with the "upload" button.
You select the files you want with the known datanorm extensions: ".RAB", ".WRG", ".001" ... ".999"

It is not possible to select ZIP files or subdirectories.

While the files are uploading you see a spinner. Because datanorm often involves large files, this can take up to several minutes.
After the upload you see a new screen with a spinner. At this point the content of the files is being checked. Again, this can take several seconds.

Warnings and errors

After the check you get an overview of warnings/errors, if there are any.

If there are warnings and errors, this can lead to an incorrect import!If you receive warnings, you can send your files to Robaws support for validation.

Item groups

You can choose to select 1 or more item groups.

You can choose to leave the screen open or to close it.

After the import the items are available in Robaws.
You can also find them easily through the item groups.
