I can no longer send emails
There can be various reasons why you can no longer send emails from Robaws. Follow the steps below, and if this does not solve the problem, contact support.
No error message
If you cannot click through to the email templates (the envelope), this means that your email address is not set to active on your own user profile.
Follow the steps here to set it to active.
Error message
The error message appears briefly in a black bar on your screen, but is also visible as a notification. You find the notifications by clicking the bell in the top right.

Open the error message by clicking the title. The detail gives you an indication of the cause.

Cause
See the red box on the image
'Authentication failed' means that the link with your mail provider has been broken.
'401 Unauthorized' often indicates that you do not have the rights to send this email.

Below the cause you see which email account this error applies to, which type of email account it is, and where it has been set up in Robaws.
- 'Use with: Email account of user profile' -> this concerns the email account in your own user profile
- 'Use with: Email account of all modules/company' -> this concerns a shared email account
Re-linking the email account of the user profile
If the error message indicates that the email address is linked to your user profile, take the following steps:
- go to your own profile
- click 'authorize' on the right, next to 'email account'
- if this is successful, you can send emails again.

Re-linking a shared email account
If the error message indicates that the email address has been set up for modules / companies, take the following steps:
- go to settings > email > additional email accounts
- open the email account that was mentioned in the error message
- click 'authorize' on the right, next to 'email account'
- if this is successful, you can send emails again.
