How the 2BA integration works

2BA lets you consult millions of technical products within one central item database.
By using the integration between Robaws and 2BA, you can select products and then load them into Robaws. The prices are then always up to date and calculated according to your own purchasing conditions.

Activating the integration

To activate the integration with 2BA, go through the following steps:

1. Go to settings > integrations > 2BA
2. Click 'connect to 2BA' to activate the integration with the webshop.
3. You are redirected to the 2BA login page, where you log in with your 2BA credentials.
4. Once logged in, you still have to give permission to complete the integration successfully.

What you can do with 2BA

The integration with 2BA offers 4 important possibilities:

1. Importing items from the shopping cart
2. Updating prices automatically
3. Linking item suppliers without a webshop in Robaws from 2BA
4. Importing time norms into an item file

Importing items from the shopping cart

Open the 2BA webshop from Robaws (via the shopping cart at the top of the item module). We then pass on, per user, the name of the shopping cart that must be used.
The most recent open shopping cart is always the one taken into account. We recommend using 'own' shopping carts only, rather than 'shared' ones.

In 2BA it is not possible to assign a supplier, because every product can have several suppliers. If you import a few items into Robaws, we check which suppliers are involved and Robaws then assigns them to the item in the item library.

Updating prices automatically

Every night a synchronisation runs between Robaws and 2BA, and the current prices are updated on the item file.
This way you can always use the most up-to-date prices in your environment.
To use this, you have to activate the function via settings > integrations > 2BA > update prices automatically.

Linking item suppliers without a webshop in Robaws from 2BA

It is possible to have all items in the item library linked to 2BA whenever we find an identical combination in 2BA.

With this function a look-up is done of the entire item library, checking the following conditions:

1. The item number is known
2. The item supplier is known and has a GLN number on the supplier file
3. No webshop is linked to the item supplier on the item file

If the above conditions are met, a look-up will be done in 2BA for all these items to see whether identical combinations are found. If they are found, a complete import of that item file will be done from 2BA into Robaws.

To activate this function, go to settings > integrations > 2BA > the link symbol at the top left. When you click it, you are asked to confirm that you want to carry out this action.
After confirmation the action is carried out.

Importing time norms into the item file

When importing items from 2BA, it is also possible to import the time norms of that item.
The 'time norms' function must be activated for this, via settings > items > time norms.
In addition, it is necessary to link the correct time norm from 2BA to the correct time norm in Robaws, via settings > integrations > 2BA.
