How does the ArchiSnapper/SafetySnapper integration work?

With the ArchiSnapper integration you consult site surveys directly in Robaws. You create your projects and contact details centrally in Robaws, after which they are sent to ArchiSnapper automatically. That way you do not have to enter anything twice.

To use the integration with ArchiSnapper, we need access to their API details. You request that access from ArchiSnapper. Making the API details available may involve additional costs charged by ArchiSnapper.

Activating the integration

First request an API key from ArchiSnapper.

Then go to settings > integrations > ArchiSnapper and fill in the key at ArchiSnapper api key. Are you using the SafetySnapper variant? Then fill in the key at SafetySnapper api key. Finally, switch the active toggle on.

Use

As soon as the integration is active and the project is synchronised, the site surveys insight appears on the project file.

If you click it, you end up in ArchiSnapper — or in SafetySnapper if you have filled in a SafetySnapper key. Via the pdf action button you consult the site surveys already made directly from Robaws.

The site address of the project, the description and the five extra fields are sent along as a site in ArchiSnapper. In addition, the site manager, the contact persons of the customer (as client) and the construction partners are linked to that site. Please note: a construction partner is only sent along if both a supplier and a contact person are on the line.

The integration synchronises automatically every quarter of an hour, and only the projects and construction partners that have changed since the previous synchronisation. So a new project does not appear in ArchiSnapper immediately. The exchange goes in one direction — from Robaws to ArchiSnapper; only the site surveys come back as a pdf.

Settings

You find the settings via settings > integrations > ArchiSnapper.

Id prefix

Do you want to link several Robaws environments to the same ArchiSnapper environment? Then fill in a prefix here. That way you prevent identical project numbers from conflicting with each other.

Description and Extra fields 1 to 5

In these six fields you work with replacement codes for projects. What you put in Description becomes the description of the project in ArchiSnapper; the five fields Extra fields 1 to 5 are sent along as additional information.
