Copying extra field information to another module

In Robaws you can use extra fields to record information that cannot be recorded in the standard fields.
You can create the extra fields in several different modules.

Some modules are connected to each other, and for these the values of the extra fields can be copied across between the modules on a one-off basis.
This is the case for the following modules:

Customer > Quotation, Change order
Quotation > Project, Order, Subscription, Invoice
Order > Planning item
Progress claim > Invoice
Project > Order, Delivery note, Progress claim, Invoice, Planning item
Change order > Order, Invoice
Supply order > Call-off order

Conditions

Before the value of the extra field is copied across as described above, a few conditions must be met:

You must create the fields in two places in the settings. Make sure you use exactly the same spelling (case and space sensitive) and the same extra field type.
This only works if you create a file in another module from the (starting) module.

Example: in Quotation and in Project I have an extra field 'Requested installation date'. If I create a project from the quotation (via the action button), the requested installation date from the quotation file is filled in on the project file.

Please note: the content is not synchronised. It is copied across once, and can then be edited independently in both modules.
