Importing posts
For the import of the posts, the 'posts' and 'postslines' tabs are used. The connection is made on the basis of the 'CHAPTER' column. This has to be the same on both tabs so the lines are linked to the right post.
Importing or would you rather duplicate?
Importing
Importing posts has advantages, but certainly disadvantages as well: it is only possible to import the content of the post (fairly complex), but if you then want to add formulas and parameters to your posts, you have to do that manually again for every post, one by one. Those cannot be imported.
Duplicating
That is why we often advise you to work out one post thoroughly by hand in Robaws first, and then duplicate it. That way you duplicate all formulas and parameters as well, and you only have to adjust the items in the calculation per post. This saves a lot of work if you use parameters and formulas.

UPDATE_BY
For posts, the update can be carried out on the basis of 4 fields:
- ARTICLEID :
The most accurate way to update an existing post, because the id is always unique. You find the id in the export of the posts.
- NAME:
The post is looked up on the basis of the name.
- NR
The 3rd way is on the basis of the number, and is only possible if you work with numbers.
- CHAPTER
Finally, you can opt for chapter, and then Robaws searches on the post number
Post lines
The 'CHAPTER' column is always mandatory because it is what makes the link with the post.

Price and costprice
By default, the post lines in Robaws follow the price of the item (pricing strategy 'follow item price').
If you want to deviate from that, you can import a different selling price and cost price. Robaws then calculates the margin automatically.
In that case, set the pricing strategy to 'custom price'.
Pricestrategy
With the import you can also import the pricing strategy for the lines of the post.
You have the following options:
- FOLLOW_ARTICLE_PRICE: follow item price
- CUSTOM_PRICE: custom price
- CUSTOM_MARGIN: custom margin
