Importing GL accounts

If you want to import a list of your GL accounts into Robaws, you can do so with the import file.
The aim is to be able to select the right GL account from this list afterwards, in the various modules of Robaws.

Import through an integration

If you have an integration with accounting software (for example Exact Online), the GL accounts are imported through the integration and you do not have to do this import with the import template.
Once you have activated the integration, you can import the GL accounts yourself:

  1. go to settings > general > master data > financial > GL account
  2. activate this button
  3. click through, and at the top you see 2 arrows (import from accounting software). Click on them, and the GL accounts are imported from the accounting software
  4. do you not see these arrows? then your integration is not active or your accounting software does not allow it
  5. if GL accounts change in your accounting software later on, you can use this button to synchronise the GL accounts in Robaws again

Import with the import template

If you do not have an integration with accounting software, you can import your GL accounts with the import template.

  1. First read the general information about data import in Robaws.
  2. Fill in the 'accountancycodes' tab in the import template, which you can do on the basis of an export from your accounting software. Take the table below into account.
  3. Import the template
  4. check in settings > general > master data > financial > GL account whether the GL accounts have been imported correctly
