Dealing with absence on the progress claim
There are various circumstances that cause the execution of a project to be delayed (weather, public holidays, force majeure, and so on). In a progress claim you can indicate this via the 'absence' tab.
Types of absence
On the overview screen of the progress claims you can find the list of the various types of absence at the top via the 'Absence' action button, and change them if you wish.
Click '+' to add an absence type, or open an existing absence type to change it.
Field | Explanation |
|---|---|
Name | Name of the type of absence |
Shorthand | To keep absence statements clear at all times, abbreviations are used. Enter the abbreviation you want here |
Make sure the abbreviation is unique, to avoid confusion on the calendar, since only the abbreviation is shown there.
On the absence statement itself, the name is shown as a legend.
Entering absence in the calendar of the progress claim
In the progress claim > 'Absence' tab, absence can be added per workday. You do this by placing your cursor in the box in the absence row.
You then select the type of absence from the drop-down list.
On the bottom line of the calendar, the workdays since the first progress claim are counted. Absence means that this day does not count as a workday.

Absence statement
In the progress claim you can call up the 'Absence' document via the 'Pdf' action button.
This absence statement contains
- the absence days of the current and previous progress claims
- the execution time that you can enter in the process claim info
- the remaining execution time in workdays
