Cost centres and cost bearers
The use of cost centres and cost bearers is important in bookkeeping.
If you have a direct API integration in Robaws with one of the accounting software packages, some integrations allow you to export cost centres and/or cost bearers.
Cost centres and cost bearers have been given a different name in Robaws:
- Cost centres = projects
- Cost bearers = activities
Cost centres and cost bearers are exported to every accounting integration whose accounting software supports these dimensions. If the accounting software you have chosen supports cost centres and/or cost bearers, you can have them booked along from Robaws. Consult the article of the accounting integration of your choice for the exact options.
Flow of cost centres and cost bearers in your accounting software
When you send the incoming and/or sales invoice to your accounting software, you can have the cost centres and cost bearers booked.
When the invoice is sent, Robaws automatically looks up this cost centre in the accounting software. If this cost centre is not found, we create it in the accounting software.
