Accounting software without an integration: UBL by e-mail (e.g. Odoo)

Robaws has a direct API integration with a number of accounting software packages. If you work with a package that is not in that list, you can still process your invoices from Robaws via UBL.

This article is about the accounting software packages that we do not integrate with, but that do work online. Such packages have a digital letterbox, so that you can deliver the UBL directly by e-mail (or via Peppol). You then do not have to download and import any files manually.

How does it work?

For these packages, Robaws sends a UBL file per invoice to the e-mail address of the digital letterbox of your accounting software, where the invoice is processed further. You can set up the UBL separately for your sales invoices and for your incoming invoices.

Go through the following steps:

1. Activate this setting via settings > invoices (for your sales invoices) and/or settings > incoming invoices (for your incoming invoices), under UBL e-mail
2. In the field 'UBL to e-mail address', fill in the e-mail address of the digital letterbox
3. In the invoice overview, or on the invoice itself, click the 'Send to accountant' action button to export the invoice
4. The further processing of the invoice takes place in the accounting software itself

Further processing

Once Robaws has sent the UBL, the further processing takes place in your accounting software itself. Robaws helps you with sending the UBL from Robaws. For the processing in your accounting software, it is best to contact the support desk of your accounting software.
