Setting the theme colour and accent colour

With the Themecolor and the Accentcolor, you determine the colour scheme of your Robaws environment. These are purely visual settings: they adjust how the software looks, so that your environment matches your house style more closely, for example.

  • Themecolor = the main colour used throughout the display of your Robaws environment (e.g. the bars, the buttons and the accents in the menus).
  • Accentcolor = the second colour, which makes certain elements in the display of your environment stand out.

Note: the theme colour and the accent colour only affect how the software looks in the browser. They have no effect on your PDF documents (quotations, invoices ...). You set the layout of your PDF separately via the PDF settings and the layout styles.

Where can I find this setting?

Go to Settings > General. In the Settings section, you will find the Themecolor and Accentcolor fields.

The Themecolor and Accentcolor fields in the Settings section

After changing the settings, click 'Activate settings' at the bottom right to actually apply them in your Robaws environment.

How do I set a colour?

For both the theme colour and the accent colour, you see a row of coloured dots. You choose a colour by clicking the dot you want. The chosen colour is marked as active. So you cannot enter a hex code or a colour of your own: you choose from a fixed colour palette.

The available colours are: Deep-Purple, Purple, Indigo, Blue, Light-Blue, Cyan, Blue-Grey, Teal, Green, Light-Green, Lime, Yellow, Amber, Orange, Deep-Orange, Red, Pink, Brown and Grey.

By default, the theme colour is set to Blue and the accent colour to Amber.

Example

Suppose your company, a roofing company, has a green house style. You want your employees to recognise their Robaws environment by the company colours straight away.

  1. Go to Settings > General and look for the Settings section.
  2. For Themecolor, click the Green dot.
  3. For Accentcolor, click the Lime dot.
  4. Click Activate settings at the bottom right.

As soon as you activate the settings, the display of your entire environment is adjusted to the new colour scheme. Your quotations and other PDFs remain unchanged.
