# Wappy | Extra fields

Robaws and [Wappy](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/wappy-bmkzk0/) have a series of standard fields. If you have information that does not fit in them, you create an [extra field](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/working-with-extra-fields-1vwszk1/). If you want your people to fill in that field on site, you make it visible in Wappy. The extra fields that appear in Wappy are the extra fields of the **work orders** module.

## Creating an extra field

1. Go to **settings > work orders > extra fields**.
2. Click **'+ add'**.
3. Give the field a **name**, a **type** and, if you wish, a **group**. As the type you can choose text, text field, date, decimal number, integer, combobox, checkbox, link, e-mail, telephone, customer or supplier, among others. With a combobox you then fill in the **choices**.
4. Use the **action button with the Wappy logo** on the field's line to determine whether it is visible in Wappy. A new extra field is switched on by default; click the action button off to hide the field in Wappy.

## Completing extra fields in Wappy

In Wappy you find the extra fields under the **'extra'** tab. Your employee fills them in there. As soon as they send the work order to Robaws, the completed values appear on the work order. They can also read them back in Wappy afterwards via **'my completed work orders'**.
