# Wappy | Chat

Every work order in [Wappy](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/wappy-bmkzk0/) has a **chat**. That way you discuss the works themselves with your colleagues, in the place where the conversation belongs — instead of through loose messages that nobody can find afterwards. Everything that is said in that chat also ends up in Robaws.

## Where to find the chat

Open a work order in Wappy and click the chat icon at the top right. You end up in the conversation that belongs to that work order and can send a message straight away.

## Where the messages end up in Robaws

The messages from the chat do not stay behind in the app: they are included on the linked project or the linked order in Robaws. You determine exactly where with the **Workorder chat** setting via **settings > work orders > Wappy**:

* **Project** — the chat goes along to the linked project. All work orders of the same project therefore share one conversation.
* **Order** — the chat goes along to the linked order. The conversation is then limited to that order.
* **Off** — the chat function is not available on the work order.

## Chatting on a completed work order

A work order you have completed does not close the conversation. Open the detail screen of the completed work order and click the chat icon: you see the full conversation that belongs to that work order and you can simply keep sending new messages.

Handy when a question about the executed works comes in after you have wrapped up — so you do not have to open a new work order or switch to another channel for that.

## Notifications when you are mentioned in the chat

If a colleague mentions you in the chat of a work order, you receive a notification about it in Wappy. In the notifications overview you see all your mentions at a glance; with one tap you go straight to the linked project or order.

* Notifications show whether you have already read them (read / unread).
* You can mark all notifications as read in one go.
