# Multiple user accounts for webshops

Wholesalers often issue a personal account per buyer. In the settings of a [webshop](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/linking-your-webshop-to-robaws-54o0ef/) you can therefore add one or more **user accounts** alongside the general login. Each employee then works in their own shopping cart and places supply orders under their own account with the supplier.

## Which account is used when?

| Automatic price updates and other background processes | Always the general login. |

|| A user account is tied to an **employee**, not to a user. If no employee is linked to the user profile, Robaws falls back on the general login.

## Adding a user account

1. Go to **settings > integrations > webshops** and open the webshop in question.
2. Fill in the general login in the left-hand column if that has not been done yet.
3. Add a line in the right-hand pane and select the **employee**.
4. Click the padlock and fill in the username and password that the wholesaler issued to that employee.
5. Set the line to active.
6. Click **test connection** behind the padlock to check whether the details are correct.

|| Do you not see a right-hand pane for adding employees in the settings of a webshop? Then that webshop does not support user accounts and works with the general login only.
