# Importing progress claims

For the import of [progress claims](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/progress-claims-general-explanation-1ja6eom/) you use two tabs in your import file: **claimstates** for the progress claims themselves and **claimstatelines** for the lines. Robaws makes the link between the two with the **NR** column. That value has to be the same on both tabs, so every line ends up with the right progress claim.

## Progress claims (tab claimstates)

Use one row per progress claim.

| NR | Number of the progress claim |
| DATE | Date of creation |
| TITLE | Title |
| PROJECTNR | Project number, has to be the same as the 'NR' column on the projects tab |
| STARTDATE | Startdate of the period |
| ENDDATE | End date of the period |
| STATUS | Current status |
| NUMBER | Process claim number: which progress claim of that project is this? |

|| Give every progress claim a unique value in the 'NR' column. If the same number occurs twice, Robaws does not block the import, but all the lines end up under the most recently created progress claim with that number.

## Progress claim lines (tab claimstatelines)

Use one row per line. The **NR** column is always mandatory, because it is what Robaws uses to make the link with the progress claim.

||| If Robaws does not find a progress claim with the number given, that line is not imported and you get a warning about it in the import report.

The value in UNITTYPE has to match the name or an alternative name of a [unit](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/working-with-unit-types-1gs3057/) in your environment. Robaws looks it up exactly, so watch the spelling and the capitals.
