# I can no longer send emails

There can be various reasons why you can no longer send emails from Robaws. Follow the steps below, and if this does not solve the problem, contact support.

## No error message

If you cannot click through to the email templates (the envelope), this means that your email address is not set to active on your own user profile.
Follow the steps [here](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/email-account-per-user-10ptds3/) to set it to active.

## Error message

The error message appears briefly in a black bar on your screen, but is also visible as a notification. You find the notifications by clicking the bell in the top right.

Open the error message by clicking the title. The detail gives you an indication of the cause.

| Is the message about your **attachments** — that the email is too large, or that Microsoft could not attach the file to the e-mail? Then there is nothing wrong with your email account and you do not need to check anything below. See [error messages when sending emails](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/error-messages-when-sending-emails-19hx7ed/).

*See the green box on the image *

Below the cause you see which email account this error applies to, which type of email account it is, and where it has been set up in Robaws.

* **'Use with: Email account of user profile'** -> this concerns the email account in your own user profile
* **'Use with: Email account of all modules/company'** -> this concerns a shared email account

#### Re-linking the email account of the user profile

If the error message indicates that the [email address is linked to your user profile](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/email-account-per-user-10ptds3/), take the following steps:

* go to your own profile
* click 'authorize' on the right, next to 'email account'
