# How does the export for Prisma (Sodeco Software) work?

[Prisma](https://www.sodeco.info/prisma.aspx) is the payroll software of Sodeco Software, used by many payroll offices. With this export you take the performance of your [employees](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/employees-general-4h4p3y/) out of Robaws in a file that your payroll office can read in directly.

|| Prisma is Belgian payroll software for payroll offices. This export is therefore only relevant for Belgian customers.

||| This is an **export**, not a two-way integration. Robaws creates a file that you pass on to your payroll office. Nothing goes to Prisma automatically, and nothing comes back out of Prisma.

| Always check with your payroll office first whether they work with Prisma.

## Activating the export

1. Ask your payroll office for your **company number** in Prisma. That is a number of at most 8 digits.
2. Go to **settings > integrations > Sodeco Software** and set the integration to active.
3. Fill in the company number and save the settings.

## Identifying employees

As soon as the integration is active, the extra field **Prisma** appears at the bottom of every employee file, under **employee info**. Via the pencil you fill in each employee's personnel number from Prisma. That is a number of at most 5 digits.

Only employees with a Prisma number end up in the file.

## Preparing hour types

Every line in the file carries a performance code. That code comes from the [hour type](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/what-are-hour-types-1q2h05/) of the registered hours. So make sure that every hour type you use has a **code** of at most 4 digits. You set that code via **settings > employee > hour type**.

||| All three numbers have to be **numeric** and stay within their maximum: company number 8 digits, personnel number 5 digits, hour type code 4 digits. If a number is missing or contains letters, you get an error message and the file is not created.

## Downloading the file

If the integration is active, the action button **download Prisma file** appears in the overview of the work orders. You choose a period and Robaws creates the file with, for all employees with a Prisma number:

* all **approved** work order hours in that period;
* all **approved** [absence hours](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/time-off-requests-1ahts55/) in that period.

|| Hours that have not yet been approved are not included. So approve them first in the time check before you export.

Do you work with [multiple companies](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/starting-a-second-environment-or-using-multiple-companies-in-one-environment-ho8lxv/) in one environment? Then you get a zip file with one text file per company.

Pass the file on to your payroll office. They read it into Prisma.
