# Adding your terms and conditions to your emails

If you want to add a [file](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/working-with-files-in-robaws-f5le7p/) to an [email template](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/email-template-1r656oh/), you first have to add it to the **general files** that you can find in the [general settings.](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/general-settings-1han2yn/)

*Example:*
*You add the 'general terms and conditions of sale' to the settings. You also add this document to the email template of a quotation.*
*This document contains all the agreements made with customers relating to the quotation and further sales.*

## Setting

Via **settings > general > files** you can upload the pdf document. 
Via **settings > module of your choice > email template** you can add a document from 'files' as a default attachment on the [email template](https://support.robaws.com/en/article/email-template-1r656oh/).
